Answers to the most common questions about our blended and in-class First Aid courses.
Intermediate First Aid is blended: 8 hours online first, then 8 hours in-class at 105 Gordon Baker Road, Unit 716, North York, ON M2H 3S1. You cannot book offline until online is complete, and there is no certificate until both steps are done. Basic First Aid is offline only — 8 hours in-class (not online).
Our certificates are issued under the WSIB First Aid Program, which covers Ontario workplace first aid requirements. If your employer has extra requirements, please confirm them with HR before enrolling.
The online portion takes approximately 8 hours. The in-class practical session is 8 hours on your scheduled date (e.g. next Saturday). Total program: 16 hours over 2 days.
For Intermediate First Aid, your official PDF certificate is issued only after you complete both Step 1 (online) and Step 2 (in-class). There is no certificate after online alone. It is emailed with a QR code for verification and is valid for 3 years.
You must complete your online training first. Offline / in-class booking is not available until Step 1 is finished. Then visit our Book In-Class page to pick your session. Confirmation is emailed from info@preservelifecpr.com.
Payment is by Teachable checkout only (card) for $120 CAD + Tax. On the Enroll page you must accept the terms, then you are sent to Teachable to pay. Course access is instant after successful payment. Interac e-Transfer is not used for online enrollment.
No refunds — all sales final. This is a digital course with instant access after payment. We do not offer refunds, cancellations, exchanges, or credits. This course is ideal for students, parents, teachers, caregivers, workplace staff, and anyone in the community who wants to be prepared to act during emergencies. No prior medical training is required.
We offer two WSIB First Aid Program courses (CSA Z1210:24): Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED (8 hours online first + 8 hours in-class; no booking/certificate until online is done), and Basic First Aid with CPR-C & AED which is offline only — 8 hours in-class (not online).
